Join The Nature Conservancy for a bike ride on the VA Creeper Trail in Abingdon.
About this Event

Join The Nature Conservancy for a guided group bike ride on the scenic VA Creeper Trail, riding from the Abingdon trailhead, to Watagua, and back to Abingdon (5 miles out, 10 mile round trip). The historic VA Creeper Trail is a nationally recognized and award winning rail-trail known for its scenic beauty and gentle gradient. This will be a FANTASTIC time to ride, right as we get in to peak fall color!

Participants will be responsible for bringing your own bike and helmet. Depending on how fast fall comes, dress in warm layers and bring plenty of water/ snacks. All rider levels are welcome.

After the bike ride, we will gather on the TNC porch for beverages and porch pickin' starting at 4pm. Bring an instrument and join us for some casual conversation about all things music and nature.
