Step Back in Time is hosting one of the Qualifying Rounds in Middle Tennessee for the Tennessee Songwriters Week. This competition is open to all music genres: classical, gospel, country, folk, rap, blues, jazz, etc. It is also open to musicians in other states. Our list of performers for this qualifying round will be capped at 12. There will be a $5 cover charge for all non-performers.
This year, two songwriters from each venue will advance to the Showcase Round. Showcase Rounds will begin February 23, 2025 and end on March 1, 2025.
Tennessee Songwriters Week supports music venues and it supports songwriters with live performances, drives visitation, and inspires travelers to experience the state's music stories, history, attractions and venues.
