Every summer, downtown Troy turns the volume up.Fridays on Prouty is a free community concert series that transforms Prouty Plaza into an open-air stage where friends gather, kids dance in the grass, and downtown hums with energy. It’s simple on purpose: great live music, fresh air, local businesses nearby, and a community that shows up for each other.
Bring a chair. Grab dinner or a drink from a downtown spot. Let the music carry through the streets while the sun sets over the square. It’s one of those evenings that reminds you why downtown matters.
This season opens with a band that channels the thunder and swagger of classic rock’s most legendary era. Think soaring guitar riffs, vocals that climb into the clouds, and the kind of songs that make you look at your friends like, “Wait… do you hear this?”
