Participants will learn:
-Normal anatomy and biomechanics of the tempomandibular joint (TMJ) and associated soft tissues
-How to perform a thorough evaluation the TMJ
-How to differentiate myofascial related pain from internal derangement
-The four levels of TMD
-Common pain generators in TMD
-Common co-morbidities in TMD
-Manual therapy techniques for the treatment of TMD
This class is open to chiropractors, physical therapists, massage therapists, acupuncturists and anyone else for whom this work is within their scope of their practice.
