St. Andrew’s By-The-Lake welcomes you to an afternoon presentation and slide show by Don Mann followed by refreshments.
Madeleine (Maddie) Mellenger, Titanic survivor, was only 13 years old that night in April, 1912, when she ended up in a lifeboat, along with her mother and a few other survivors, waiting for a
rescue ship to find them. Maddie’s son, Don Mann, is able to recount the horrors of that tragic night with powerful images
on-screen by relating his Mom’s actual words from her own personal story, written some time ago. Don, a longtime Kingston resident, has been pleased to pass along to many audiences his
presentation of the sinking of the great Titanic, one
of the world’s most famous sea tragedies.
