Join us on this fascinating walking tour discovering some of the fascinating history of the RMS Titanic, forever associated with the city of Southampton
Our charismatic guide for this experience, Geoff, will tell you some of the many stories associated with its fated sailing in 1912 and we'll visit some of the key spots in the city with links to this great ship
The walk starts at the Platform Tavern at the lower end of the city and includes stops besides a number of the memorials linked to the Titanic including The White Star Office and the hotel where guests stayed the night before the voyage. You'll learn about the people involved and how this tragedy effected the city.

- The Titanic had a swimming pool on board
- The Titanic carried mail and was therefore RMS Titanic and not SS Titanic
- There were only enough lifeboats for a third of the people on board
- Her 4th funnel was actually fake
The experience lasts up to 2 hours and is gently-paced
