Tip-A-Badge Challenge!
Kootenai County, Idaho: The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce its participation in this year’s Tip-A-Cop Challenge, an annual event that brings law enforcement and community members together to raise funds and awareness in support of Special Olympics Idaho athletes.
This year, Kootenai County is expanding the tradition by renaming the event the Tip-A-Badge Challenge and welcoming fellow first responders, including our local fire departments, to join the competition. By bringing together law enforcement, fire service personnel, and community partners, we look forward to building on this tradition of teamwork, friendly competition, and community support for our incredible Special Olympics Idaho athletes.
During the event, first responders will step out from behind the badge to serve tables alongside local restaurant staff, collecting tips that directly benefit Special Olympics athletes across the state.
“This event is one of our favorites each year because it gives our deputies a chance to connect with the community in a fun and meaningful way,” said Sheriff Robert B. Norris. “Every dollar raised helps support the incredible athletes who inspire us with their determination, teamwork, and courage.”
