WB3DLN asked me to pass this along to anyone who may be interested -KB3AWQ. The Tioga County Amateur Radio Club will be meeting at my house for QSO party this next weekend on Oct.11th and 12th.
The times are Noon to Midnight on Saturday and 9am to 6pm on Sunday.
We will have three stations set up, one 600 watts, 200 watts and a CW station with 100 watts using the county Flex radio to keep interference down between the radios. We will be using the PA. Grand Canyon Repeater Group Inc. call NR3K.
Non licensed people are encouraged to operate to help get their feet wet and get their license.
All are welcome to come and operate. Some people even stay overnight to get a good start at 9am to get the remainder of the counties we need for a clean sweep.
There is always enough food with what people bring for a dish to pass, but is not required.
