ABOUT THE INTERMISSION ORCHESTRA

The Intermission Orchestra at Berkeley, also known as TIO, is a student-run, full symphony orchestra dedicated to performing music from film, video games, and anime at UC Berkeley. Each year, TIO presents 3-4 concerts completely free and open to the public, with all of our full orchestral pieces arranged and conducted by our members. Besides a wonderful group of skilled musicians, we have in-house staff teams dedicated to art/graphics, photography and videography, audio tech, and video editing. Since our founding in 2017, we've grown to consistently bring our joy for music to packed performance halls of 600+ people.
