Berkeley Haunted Hike

We will take you on a trek across the Cal campus and into the nearby grounds to show you haunted places.

About this Event

Basics:

Start time: September start time: 8:00pm (hike will last approximately 2 hours).

We will start earlier in the fall and winter. Please check our calendar for those start times.

Meeting point: Outside of Bakar Ingenuity Hub at 2630 Bancroft Way in Berkeley.

End Point: East of Clark Kerr Campus

What to bring/prepare: Wear long pants, good closed toed shoes, a flashlight. You are welcome to bring paranormal investigation apps and equipment as long as they are not too disruptive to the tour.

Details:

This hike gets creepier as you go. The Haunted Bay is a Bay Area paranormal investigations series and we will take you on a trek across the campus and nearby grounds, across dark paths and stop at old haunted buildings. You'll hear the ghost legends and true ghost stories that have been told by witnesses, reported in the news and experienced by psychic mediums and we'll share our personal experiences and evidence gathered during paranormal investigations.

This is a semi-strenuous walk with hills, stairs, dark pathways and uneven ground with rocks, vegetation, branches and debris. You will be asked to sign a liability waiver and photo/video release to participate in the hike.

Mature themes will be discussed so this tour may not be appropriate for children under 13. Please wear long pants and comfortable closed toed shoes and bring a flashlight.

Tours will only run if there are a minimum of two guests. Hike time may vary depending on how much paranormal activity is picked up, questions, and breaks. Please allow time to look for parking. Please use the restroom before the tour start.

Refunds and cancellations:

Refunds can be issued if request is made at least 24 hours before tour start time.

In case of unsafe weather conditions or other conditions that make the tour unsafe or unfeasible, we may cancel the tours. We will issue refunds if we need to cancel.

Terms of Service:

We reserve the right to refuse service for unsafe or disruptive behavior including but not limited to being under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other intoxicating substances, being disrespectful, harassing the guide or guests, not following directions.
