🌲 Outdoor Explorers: One-Day Adventure & Night Camp 🌲

Adventure Locations: Camp Sullivan (Oak Forest) & Little Red Schoolhouse Nature Center (Willow Springs)

Ages: Open to youth ages 5–14 and their families!

Give your kids a day filled with fresh air, practical wilderness skills, and unforgettable memories right before the holiday weekend. Choose between our full-day camp, our epic overnight program, or combine both for the ultimate outdoor experience!

## ☀️ Option 1: Day Camp (Explorers Edition)

Time: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (After-care available until 6:00 PM)

Ages: 5–14 years old

Price: $79 per child (After-care option from 4:00–6:00 PM: +$15)

Perfect for young adventurers ready to learn the ropes of the great outdoors!

### What’s Included:

Essential Camping Skills: Hands-on training in fire safety, shelter basics, and outdoor survival setups.

Outdoor Activities & Games: Nature challenges, team-building exercises, and active games.

Wilderness Safety: Learning how to navigate trails, use a compass, respect local wildlife, and stay safe.

## 🌙 Option 2: The Ultimate Night & Next-Day Program

Time: Friday, 4:00 PM – Saturday, 12:00 PM (Noon)

Ages: 5–18 and parents!

Supervision Rule: Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Kids ages 10 and up can attend independently with our staff.

Price: $80 per person (Includes all activities, gear, tours, and food)

Turn the adventure into a full-blown overnight excursion! Kick off the evening with a hiking trip at Camp Sullivan and keep the momentum going under the stars.

### What’s Included:

Camp Festival & Gear: Gather around a real campfire; all essential camping gear is provided!

Night Exploration: Fully guided stargazing and an exciting night hike through the woods.

All-Inclusive Food: Delicious, hearty camp food provided for both dinner and breakfast.

Expert-Led Tours: Fully guided activities led by experienced outdoor specialists.

Saturday Morning Bonus: A guided bird-watching expedition the next morning at the beautiful Little Red Schoolhouse.

## 🏕️ The Ultimate Experience: Combine Option 1 & Option 2

Time: Friday, 8:00 AM – Saturday, 12:00 PM (Noon)

Price: $159 per camper (Plus $80 per accompanying adult joining for the night portion)

Can't choose? Do it all! Your child will spend the day learning core wilderness skills, hop right onto the school bus at 4:00 PM, and seamlessly transition into the overnight campfire, stargazing, and Saturday morning bird-watching adventure.

Note: If your child is under 10, you can drop them off for Day Camp at 8:00 AM and meet them at Camp Sullivan at 4:00 PM to join them for the Night Program!

## 🚌 Transportation Logistics (Please Read Carefully)

To the Campsite: At 4:00 PM on Friday, a school bus will transport day campers directly from Leavitt St to Camp Sullivan to begin the evening hike. Night program participants can either ride this bus or drive themselves to meet us there.

Or We can be flexible with the route – if we get 8 or more requests from a major community, we'll add a stop there.please indicate request stop at the registeration form.

The Return: The school bus is one-way only. Parents must provide or arrange their own transportation back home from the program on Saturday.

🚙 Carpool Coordination: To help make things easier for everyone, we will be coordinating a voluntary carpool network closer to the event date so families can team up for rides back to the city!

Comfortable, closed-toe hiking shoes or sneakers

A jacket or sweater for the cooler evening temperatures

A change of clothes and pajamas (for night program participants)

Cost: our standard tent cover 4 persons for extra person Above 12 years old 80 per person, kids 5-12 $40 per person, kids 2-4 are free. Kids under 24 month are not allowed. Dog is not allowed this time.
