Because Every Parent Deserves a Village 🌈
A free community evening for familes feeling the complexities of parenting. Whether it’s burnout, work life balance stress, disabilities, neurodiversity, or the challenges that we don’t talk about enough that can sometimes feel isolating, you aren’t alone.
Children are welcome to play while caregivers connect with others who understand the victories, worries, appointments, work, staying at home, and everyday realities of raising children.
When: Every Other Tuesday | 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM in July ( more schedules will follow based on attendance and need)
What to Expect:
✨ Free admission for children
☕ Complimentary coffee, tea, and beverages
🍪 Light snacks for families
🌈 Open play throughout The Whimsy Place
💛 A judgment-free space for conversation, support, and connection
Whether you’re newly navigating parenthood or have been on this journey for years, you are welcome here. Even in the best of circumstances we all need a village.
When we moved back to Pennsylvania and our daughter Amelia began facing medical and developmental challenges, we quickly learned how isolating parenting can feel. The appointments, therapies, testing, unanswered questions, lack of help to care for our own needs, not having help as a whole and fear and life in general was overwhelming.
We realized something important: families need a village. 🏡
We created The Village Gathering because no parent should have to navigate these journeys alone. Whether your child has a diagnosis, is awaiting answers, has medical needs, developmental differences, sensory challenges, schedule stress, work stress, or you’re simply looking for understanding and connection, there is a place for you here.
This is open house style, there isn’t no formal agenda, just a space for gathering, connection, and getting to know each other. Please come when you can and leave when you need to.
This gathering is free.
