Join us at the original Tiny Art Gallery for a new opening! Despite a recent art theft we are back and going strong :-)Artist Snorre. N. Skeidsvoll will present a new work at the opening:
"A cup of Norway"
This cup shows a brief depiction of Norwegian Art history from early cave and stone paintings until today. The following Is depicted.
Early Sami cave paintings: Showing animal and river drawings.
The first rune carving: a 2000 year old runestone. saying idiberug or idiberun.
Wines common in the “stavikirke” inspired by both Norse and Christian cultures.
A common nature picture from the romantic era showing a woman in traditional red and white clothing.
The scream: painted by Edvard munch one of the most famous Norwegian paintings.
