Tiny Art Big Room

"Tiny Art Big Room" fills the expansive Dare Arts Courtroom Gallery with artwork on a smaller scale, creating a playful contrast between the size of the space and the size of the artwork itself.
This invitational exhibition brings together 31 local artists working in miniature, most challenging themselves to shrink their subject matter. Boasting a diversity of mediums from small format painting to ironically small pottery, the show invites you to step closer and discover the detail, humor, and creativity packed into each piece.
There will be an opening reception on Friday, June 5 from 6pm to 8pm, where visitors can meet the artists behind the tiny art and view their work.
The opening reception is during First Friday in downtown Manteo and is free and open to everyone.
"Tiny Art Big Room" will be on display June 6-27, 2026 in our Courtroom Gallery.
