Camp 1 - Spirit of Innovation: Robotics Engineering and Entrepreneurship - July 8th - July 12th, 2024
Grades 7 - 9
Join us for an immersive week of STEM and unravel the mysteries of robotics using micro:bit and top-notch robotics kits. Explore the potential of the micro:bit combined with servo-motors and dive into creating your own 3D designs to add that personal touch.
Experienced CS instructors will help you as you get hands-on with building and programming. We’ll also guide you as you think through real and imagined uses for the robots you invent to take them from design to entrepreneurial pitch. It's not just about programming; it's about bringing your ideas to life in a relaxed and friendly setting.
Time: 20 hours, 9am - 1pm plus a longer session Thursday 9am - 3pm to prepare demo's for Friday 10am with celebration lunch party.
Camp 2 - Spirit of Innovation: Product Design and Entrepreneurship - July 15th - July 19th, 2024
Grades 6 - 8
Ever wondered how to print your own keychain, toy or jewelry designs in 3D? What about designing and making a product out of wood with a laser cutter? The Lab at Marin City is a makerspace/ shop with all the equipment you need to take your idea from brainstorm to reality.
Register now for this camp in the new Lab that will get your entrepreneurship ideas flowing!
