This is a fun, hands-on introduction to circuits, machine learning, and basic principles of robotics. It will cover Engineering Design, Mechanical Engineering, Energy, Circuits, Art, ELA and Math.We are going to build simple and more complicated projects while learning about circuits, create a small robot, make our own battery, learn about squishy circuits and finally a robotic car. Each day will build on itself. Children should be present for all 3 days to get the most out of the experience but you can sign up for individual days.
This is a wonderful opportunity to explore a new learning opportunity and make new friends!
Pre-Requisites:
Children must be 5 by May 1, 2025 to participate. No writing or reading ability is needed but children should be able to follow simple directions and understand a simple diagram.
Fees:
This camp will meet over 3 days. Each day will build upon itself. Camp fees are $135 for the whole camp per child with a 25% sibling discount available.
A deposit is due upon sign up with the entire camp fee due by May 15. If you need a different payment schedule please reach out to us at jessie@shoalseer.org.
This is designed to be a drop off camp. We are a small business and we have maximized our class space.
Maximum camp size is 15 kids.
