Timrod Library Fall Fest

The Timrod Library Fall Fest, an annual celebration of books, food, family, and fun, is Saturday, Oct. 24, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free and open to all at the Timrod Library, 217 Central Avenue.
The centerpiece of Fall Fest is a giant book sale, with great deals on hundreds of books, including fiction, nonfiction, history, cookbooks, children’s literature, vintage editions, and more. The latest Timrod book tote is $25 and comes with all the tent-sale books it will hold.

While you're there for the books, be sure to check out:
• Free face painting and bookmarks in the children’s book tent
• Sales of homemade casseroles, okra soup, and baked goods
• Silent auction, and 50/50 cash prize drawing!
• Sweetgrass baskets by the Hanahan Sweetgrass Basket Weavers.
All proceeds of this event benefit the programs of the Timrod Literary and Library Association, which operates the historic library, established in 1897.
Fall Fest at the Timrod Library is a great way to welcome the holiday season while supporting literacy and learning in Summerville.
