About the Bands:
Diamond Dog's poetic dystopian punk vision begins in 2020, and becomes a reality with the full band in 2021.
The writing and interpretation of the songs draws its identity from the new wave origins from the very late 70's, but also from the more current sounds of the post-punk revival.
The band resonates with rhythmic and danceable tracks, propelled into a vaporous setting of synthetic textures where chorus and reverb reign supreme.
The Dijon-based quartet, led by an intense and visceral lead vocal, express themselves on stage through an incandescent atmosphere imbued with the fury of the Cramps, the romantic melodies of Liszt, the poetry of Kipling and the cinema of Lynch.
Their debut album, Usual Chronicles, was released in March 2023 on EMB Blanc and Wave Records.
The band has already played over 90 concerts, including a first European tour in October 2023 (France, Switzerland, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia).
The band's name is an indirect reference to William S. Burroughs' « Garçons Sauvages », as the starting point for a sensitive, tormented artistic reflection teeming with links to pop culture.
Farba Kingdom:
FARBA KINGDOM
«Odessa, the city where newlyweds Daniil and Liza Farba founded the duo Farba Kingdom, has always been a multicultural place like other old port cities. In its depressing and dark electronics, the duo seem to transform the experience of living in a rapidly changing environment, trying to hide behind nostalgia and heal themselves along with the listeners.
With their 2020 debut album «Німб», the duo determined the future direction of their sound: post-punk despair, uncomfortable crushing industrial vibes, and a thorough string of hypnotic synths. Their music immediately evokes a comparison with the architecture of their hometown, which the artists have imbibed, where mystical neo-Gothic buildings stand next to Soviet constructivism, a visual image that almost literally screams about the hopeless sadness of those times.
Farba Kingdom’s discography easily plunges into gloomy melancholy, giving a unique feel as they mix electronica with rock, and making you move in a kind of sad dance.
If you are lucky enough to get to their concert, the oppressive atmosphere and the disconnection of the members from each other on stage can really release inner feelings and serve as therapy, helping you to let go of negative experiences and fear of doom in order to emerge purified into this unfriendly world. »

«Having fled the war in Ukraine to Romania in 2022, Farba Kingdom rapidly garnered a dedicated following in Bucharest and its surrounding areas. The turning point arrived on September 30 when the renowned Turkish post-punk duo SHE PAST AWAY was scheduled to perform at Control, one of Bucharest’s premier clubs. Impressed by FARBA KINGDOM’s potential, the club’s management invited them for a joint concert. The event sold out quickly, drawing fans not only from Bucharest but also from the UK, Germany, and the USA. The concert left a lasting impression, with the audience chanting “Farba Kingdom” even during SHE PAST AWAY’s performance.»
