Attendee Guidelines
To ensure the best experience, we will ask participants to:
Dress comfortably: Wear loose, warm clothing or layers, as body temperatures tend to drop during deep relaxation.
BYOM (Bring your own mat): Henry Mercer’s industrial concrete floors were built to last, not to be soft, and while we will create a comfortable setting, we ask everyone to bring their own yoga mat and a blanket to ensure absolute physical comfort during a long period of stillness
Hydrate: Hydrate well before and after the session. Since our bodies largely made of water the sound waves and resonant frequencies travel through our tissues and cells much more effectively when you are fully hydrated.
If you have any metal implants, plates, screws, joint replacements, or a pacemaker in your body, please consult your doctor before attending a sound bath! Strong sound frequencies and deep vibrations can sometimes cause discomfort or resonate intensely around metal objects inside the body. Your physician can confirm if acoustic sound therapy is safe for your specific medical situation.
