Medieval castle, cathedral and church walls were often highly decorated with paintings and decorative patterns. Additionally, painted flags, banners and pennants were also very popular during medieval times.
Dressed as a medieval painter, Jeff will discuss and demonstrate some of the techniques, tools, paints and materials that were used. He will also demonstrate how to make medieval artist’s paint brushes.

Jeff Loader is an experienced craftsman and combines his craft knowledge and skills with his passion for history to present demonstrations and activities for all to enjoy.
