Join us on International Overdose Awareness Day to honor those we've lost to addiction and substance use.
About this Event

Monday, August 31, is International Overdose Awareness Day. We invite you to gather with us on this important day, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m., at the Westland City Hall Banquet Center for an evening of remembrance, healing, and action. Co-hosted by Face Addiction Now – Northwest Wayne Chapter, Recovery Action Network of Michigan, and Hegira Health, this meaningful gathering honors the lives lost to drug use and addiction — and reminds us that no one walks this path alone.

What to Expect:

· A touching flower ceremony and a memorial photo display to honor loved ones.

· Inspiring speakers, live music, and a message of hope.

· Free food and access to community resources focused on healing and support.

We encourage you to bring a photo of your loved one for our memorial display and stand with others in solidarity as we raise awareness and foster compassion.
