TIME IS MONEY is a monthly comedy experiment at The Cobalt where the funny get paid and the unprepared get sent home.
How it works: Comics sign up on-site for the lottery. If your name is pulled, you earn $1 per minute on stage, up to 10 minutes. Bomb or look at your notes and the mic gets cut, the clock stops, and you walk away with exactly what you earned.
Every show opens with two of Vancouver's best rising comedians showing you how it's done before the lottery chaos begins.
Whether you're a comic looking to clock in or an audience member here to watch the carnage, this is the most intense room in the city.
