TIME BEFORE GOODBYE:Navigating Eldercare (film screening)/Panel Discussion

Community Caregivers of Greater Derry with support from The Greater Derry Arts Council's Public Arts Committee is pleased to present a screening of the film TIME BEFORE GOODBYE: Navigating Eldercare as part of the award winning Elephant-in-the- Room Series by the NH Theatre Project at the Derry Opera House on Monday, March 9th from 6-8PM.

The film addresses myths surrounding the eldercare process, clarifies how healthcare and support systems operate, and highlights the challenges faced by both caregivers and patients. The work aims to offer clarity, reduce isolation, and raise awareness about resources that many families may not know exist.

This free event features a 45-minute film presentation followed by a facilitated discussion between the audience and a panel of experts, highlighting the issues and challenges brought up in the play.

Community Caregivers was honored to play a role in helping to bring this production to life. The stage performance was converted into a film and we cannot wait to bring it to Derry. It includes interviews with caregivers, elders, healthcare agencies, and eldercare professionals.

Community Caregivers will be providing refreshments from Ken & Mimi's Gourmet Snacks and each attendee will receive a compiled set of resource materials from local providers, advocates and helping agencies.
