Don’t miss your opportunity to be a part of the first annual Timbal University. A six week series of in depth timbal technique, grooves and historical background of Afro Brazilian timbal drumming. With over 40 years of combined knowledge learn from some of the top timbal players in the Bay Area.

Over this six week course attendees will build community and collaborate with peers. Beyond attending, participants will be giving back to the community. Proceeds from the Timbal University will be going to help support the annual Zumbi festival. A percussion festival honoring the life of Ganga Zumbi, Afro Brazilian culture and Black liberation!
