Tim Wheeler: "No Power Greater"

Tim Wheeler will recount the life of George A. Meyers. Meyers organized 12,000 textile workers in Cumberland, Maryland, and was elected President of the Maryland-D.C., C.I.O. He was later framed on trumped up charges of conspiring to overthrow the US government and spent nearly four years in Pr*son. Freed, he dedicated his life to building the labor movement.

About the Author:

Tim Wheeler is the author of three books and has written over 10,000 news reports, exposés, op-eds, and commentaries in his half-century as a journalist for The Worker, Daily World, and People's World. After residing in Baltimore for many years, he now lives in Sequim, Washington.
