TIM GOODIN
Event Photos

Tim Goodin is a "Son of Appalachia," he's also an independent singer/songwriter straight out of the Hills of South East Kentucky. He grew up wandering the hills and "hollers" of the Appalachian landscapes. It is here his love for music began. The old mountain hymnals he grew up listening to is what helped develop his unique style.

His Debut self released EP "Son of Appalachia" Hit #11 on the iTunes Country Album Chart, #54 on the iTunes All Genres Chart and #8 on the Billboard Bluegrass Albums Chart, it stayed on the iTunes Country Albums Top 200 Chart for 27 weeks. His follow up and Debut full length album, "True Stories and Flat Out Lies" hit #9 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart and #7 on the Billboard Bluegrass Albums Chart, it was produced by James Barker (steel and lead guitar player for Tyler Childers). In fact, Tim had several of The Food Stamps join him on this album, Craig Burletic (Bass), Rod Elkins (Drums), James Barker (Steel Guitar) and Jesse Wells (Fiddle, Mandolin, Banjo and Electric Guitar).

With a growing community of support on his Social Media accounts, Tim really is an up-and-coming Singer/Songwriter that is poised to make some waves in the near future. He has been steadily putting together a band of Master Musicians including Anna Blanton-Fiddle (Colter Wall, Tony Logue), John Looney-Mandolin & Guitar (John R. Miller), Roddy Puckett-Bass (The Wooks, Wolfpen Branch), Sam Rogers-Drums (Sean Whiting).

Tim has seen some great success in 2022 and 2023 to date, playing several packed houses in many different areas in the Eastern US such as Alabma, Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio and Arkansas. He played an 8 show run with The Steel Woods back in the Fall of '22, wrapping that up with a New Years Eve show at the Caverns in Pelham TN in front of a Sold Out crowd of 1,500 people. He has Played The Laurel Cove Music Festival '22 &'23, Festival of the Red '22 & '23. He is set to play the Healing Appalachia Music Festival this Fall in WV. Tim continues to grow his resume, as he has opened shows for Ward Davis, The Steel Woods, John Anderson, Chris Janson, Dylan Scott, and Tyler Farr. The future is bright for Tim, he's hit several milestones so far and there's plenty more to come!

MICAH HOWARD - THE SOUTHERN GHOST
Event Photos

Pairing yesterday’s country music with a refreshing modern sound, outlaw and Marine Corps veteran Micah Howard began making music after receiving his first hand-me-down guitar from his father. When Howard left the Marine Corps in 2015, he decided to commit to music full time. Micah started combining southern rock, grunge rock, blues, southern Appalachian bluegrass and outlaw country reflective of the classic sound native to his roots.

Micah’s listeners have compared his vocals to that of Chris Cornell (Sound Garden) and Ronnie Van Zant (Lynyrd Skynyrd) in a haunted format. His use of minors in his songwriting are some that are inspired by Thom Yorke (Radiohead), but pay high tribute to country and blues music theories. His solo acoustic play is set to the tune of the cracking timber and flowing creeks of the southeastern US. When he is backed by his band “The Southern Ghosts”, they rally to inspire a muddy cocktail of Alice In Chains, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Dan Tyminski, Radiohead, Hank Jr., and the like.

Micah was coined the "Southern Ghost” by his good friend and fellow songwriter, Phillip David Harris. Phillip and Micah wrote their first song together “Wings of Mercy” in just one afternoon. Phillip proclaimed “It’s like you're a southern ghost come to present times to sing stories about those who lived during hard times.”

Micah is currently working to streamline new music and releases, of which he is looking to draw from the sounds of the America. He is working hard to step back in time with a sound reminiscent of the southern heritage that first echoed through the hardwoods of the Appalachians and the tall Loblolly’s of the low country.
