Our high school friend Tim Friedel passed away unexpectedly Saturday night in his sleep. He left this world with no long-term arrangements to help his daughter, CJ Friedel. CJ has many illnesses, and her father was her caretaker. She has applied for assistance and, in many cases been denied. She is working to appeal those decisions.
In the meantime, CJ needs help to pay the funeral home, some of his medical bills, and cover living expenses for a few months until she can navigate through all this.
During our time in Waukesha growing up, we had 2 high schools. We all started at Central Campus, and then split to either go to South or the new North campus. Many of us stayed connected with friends at both schools. Tim is one of those people you always wanted to stay connected with.
His friends now come together and ask for your help, to donate and/or attend his fundraising and memorial event to help CJ. It is a great time for our Waukesha community to work together. We thank you in advance.
This event will take place at Sporties at Sunset Bowl, where numerous bands have performed. I am very happy to announce that @LosGuys will be playing in honor of Tim. The Machine Shed will cater the food (more details to follow).
