About this Event
Description of performance: Set in a town marked by deindustrialisation and economic decline, the play reflects the political and social strains that shape the characters' identities and choices. Steel’s writing roots these themes in lived experience, presenting them not as abstract debates but as forces woven into the daily fabric of working‑class life. Over a single summer day, our play blends comedy and emotional upheaval, exploring themes of loyalty, prejudice, class, and the strain of change on a tightly bound family.
