Ever wanted to learn how to make tiki drinks at home, but don’t know where to start? Are you curious about tiki bar history and want to know more about what all of this exotic flavor means? Well, you’re in luck! Join our Creative Director, Mandi Shepp, for a tiki cocktail class and “sip-along” workshop where attendees will learn about the origins of tiki bar subculture as well as how to make two classic tiki cocktails, Trader Vic’s original 1944 Mai Tai and Don the Beachcomber’s original 1934 Zombie, along with one of our most popular mocktails, the Placebo.
Ticket price ($45) for this three-hour class will include the ingredients for three (3) drinks to be made by attendees while learning hands-on mixology techniques, along with the history of these cocktails, their ingredients, and their creators. Additional beers, cocktails, and food items will be available to attendees for the duration of the workshop at a 10% discount.
Summer might be almost over, but after this class you'll be able to escape to the tropics all winter long!
