TIGERNATION 9TH ANNUAL TAILGATE

TIGERNATION will be having our Annual Tailgate. LSU vs ALABAMA game on November 7th, 2026.
This is our 9th year in a row hosting this event and it always turns out to be a hit! Our hosts KOCKA is the home of the 8 Man Funnel Of Death. SO LET'S PARTY WITH KOCKA!
We always have people travel in from all over the country. And we LOVE showing people what LSU Tailgating is all about.
We always have a couple hundred people come by and it's big enough for everyone. So yall should come out and join the us! The best part is getting to meet all the people from the page that you talk to daily! Please come and meet all your favorite tiger fans. It really is a great way to make new friends and see everyone you always see or talk to online..
KOCKA TAILGATING has invited us to join their tailgate and Host. The information will all be posted on the event page as we plan further.
To explain a TIGERNATION Tailgate to you... I would call it a community tailgate. We all contribute, show up and make it a tailgate for all. That's how we are able to keep this thing going. It is like we all put on a tailgate together and I just organize it.
**What I do know so far
• The location is pretty much on the same. In the Old Front 9. By Burbank and Nicholson on the Old Front 9. Actually across the actual parking lot road from our past tailgates. Google map photos posted on event with the location circled in Yellow.
• Some of it will be shaded by trees so bring Tents if you would like. And if anyone would like to donate more large tents than we already have that would be so helpful.
• KOCKA will provide the main dish and maybe some sides. (main dish: which will be Pastalaya) James will be supplying the Pastalaya which will be served at around 10:30 or 11am. **For a bowl of Pastalaya it's $5 a person. You will get a WRISTBAND so you can get more if wanted. Since KOCKA is paying for the Pastalaya and wanted to help out of the goodness of their hearts I figure this would be a good way to help pay him back for helping us out. All proceeds go to KOCKA. We will also have free food tables but that pastalaya is the best thing and has been a hit for the last 8 years!
* if you would like to contribute to the tailgate but wont make it. Donations are always excepted.
My Venmo is @Amanda-Cheramie-2, it will go toward buying food to supply for everyone and alcohol for the bar, etc.
-BYOB or liquor. The event is BYOB/Liquor unless you want to supply it for the tailgate which would help ALOT. We usually have enough supplied to make an open bar. Just bring a bottle of something or some mixers and leave them at the bar.. We will have tons of Jello Shots and the popular Rally Juice made by Tradition by TIGERHOLICS who will will be joining us at the new location this year. IF YOU CAN MAKE JELLO SHOTS PLEASE CONTACT ME.
-Please if you would like to help out bring a Side Dish. Do not feel obligated it is up to you but also it does help us a lot when people bring extra food and helps give us a more options. You are not required but we DO encourage people to bring a dish/app/dip/desert/Utensils/Napkins/Cups/Sandwich Tray/chicken trays/snacks/kid drinks etc. etc. etc.. If you can please let me know what you will be bringing I would really appreciate it.. Please let me know what you will bring so we can coordinate food. If you do bring food please remember you are probably not going to be able to park close to the tailgate so try to bring a disposable dish so you won't have to walk back to your vehicle unless you want to leave it during during the game. If you get to LSU early enough you may be able to park in the lot by the tailgate. But they do charge this year unfortunately.
• Please bring your own chairs, tents, and Tables. It is asked that you bring chairs for you and your family or friends just to make sure everyone can sit if they would like. If you would like to bring Chairs feel free too if not that'sperfectly fine, you can just walk around, play games and mingle. Make sure you put your name on your items.
-They have generators and 2 55" TVs to watch the game at the tailgate if you do not have tickets to the game, along with a DJ. If enough people want to stay to watch the game at the tailgate they will leave everything set up.
-Please feel free to bring family, kids and/or friends with you. It's open to all your personal friends and family. We like to give you the opportunity to bring your family and friends because we know how it can sometimes be awkward and scary to go somewhere that you have never met anyone in person. So we ask that you invite your family, kids, and close friends to tag along.
I know some of you are sharing this event but to be very clear this is a TIGERNATION EVENT for our group. Please only invite people you are close friends with or your family only to come if you are an TIGERNATION Member. I had to make the event public but it is a private event for TIGERNATION members, our close Friends and Family.
• You don't have to come and stay if you don't want. Just come by and say Geaux Tigers but I promise you will want to stay!
