About this Event

The Tiger Fun Run 5K celebrates the enduring legacy of Christiansburg Industrial Institute, one of the nation's most significant African American educational institutions and the first high school in Southwest Virginia established to educate formerly enslaved people and their descendants.
Every registration helps support the preservation of this remarkable history while expanding educational programs, museum exhibits, cultural preservation, and community engagement initiatives of Christiansburg Institute, Inc.

Participants will enjoy:

• A professionally organized 5K run/walk
• A commemorative Tiger Sprint 5K T-shirt (while supplies last)

• Early Bird Registration: $20 (July 28 - August 14)
• Regular Registration: $25 (August 15 - September 25)
• Race Day: $30 (September 26)
