Comedian, actor, writer, director, producer, and podcast host: Tig Notaro does it all. Originally from Mississippi, Notaro is an Emmy, Grammy, WGA, and SAG Award-nominee and was named one of the 50 best stand-up comics of all time by Rolling Stone.Notaro was nominated for an Emmy and a Grammy Award for her 2016 HBO special Boyish Girl Interrupted and received a GLAAD Award nomination for the Netflix Original Documentary Tig. She wrote, produced, and starred in the semi-autobiographical Amazon Prime Video series One Mississippi, which yielded critical acclaim and several award nominations. She hosts Handsome, a critically acclaimed comedy podcast, alongside fellow comedians and co-hosts Fortune Feimster and Mae Martin. Additionally, her memoir I’m Just a Person is a New York Times Bestseller. Her HBO standup special Drawn made history as the first-ever fully animated stand-up special. Most recently, her special Tig Notaro: Hello Again premiered in March 2024 on Prime Video, garnering multiple Emmy nominations.
