TIDY TOWN: Love Where You Live

As part of Tidy Town Fest: The Big Barrow Clean Up, running from Monday 23rd March to Sunday 29th March, the volunteer litter‑picking group Love Where You Live invites you to join a friendly community clean‑up in Hindpool.

They will be meeting on Tuesday 31st March at 2:00pm in the square at the junction of Anson Street and Clive Street, by the benches (LA14 1UZ). Free parking is available in the bays on the estate, making it easy for everyone to get involved.

All equipment is provided, and no experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm. Together, you will be giving some of Hindpool’s key streets a spring refresh, including:

• Duke Street

• Blake Street

• Clive Street

• McClintock Street

• Steel Street

• Lower Anson Street

• Hindpool Road (bordering Hollywood Park)

• Calcutta Street

• Franklin Street

This event is part of a tremendous town‑wide effort, with over 30 schools, businesses, and organisations taking part to help make Barrow cleaner, more welcoming, and ready for everyone to enjoy walking, wheeling, and cycling into spring.
