The TidalHealth Medical Weight Loss & Bariatric Nutrition team, in collaboration with the TidalHealth Employee Wellness Committee, will host the TidalHealth Wellness Walk and 5k — a celebration of the incredible achievements of our patients and team members — at Hooper's Landing in Seaford on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 9 am. Check-in begins at 8 am.
Through a combination of medical care, lifestyle changes and physical activity, many have achieved sustainable weight loss and improvements in conditions like diabetes, heart disease and cancer. Exercise plays a vital role in their journey, and this walk is an opportunity to celebrate their dedication — bringing together patients, providers, family, friends and community members to share in their success. This year, the public is invited to participate.
All proceeds from the 2026 TidalHealth Wellness Walk will support TidalHealth's Sheila Zimmer Breast Screenings Fund. This fund provides financial assistance for breast screenings and support services through diagnosis, helping ensure access to timely care for those in need.
Register at the link under "Tickets." Participants who preregister by Aug. 20 will be guaranteed a T-shirt in their selected size. Registration fees increase beginning Aug. 21.
