Heritage Week Concert with Tia Bow
Saturday 22 August | 3.15pm | City Library
Free Event | All Welcome
Join us during Heritage Week for a special performance by Tia Bow, the musical project of Belfast songwriter Fionnuala Fagan-Thiébot.
Marking a new chapter in her musical journey, Tia Bow moves from oral histories to deeply personal storytelling. Her forthcoming album, Blackberry Path (Autumn 2026), weaves together acoustic and electronic textures, transcendent vocals, synths, strings, guitars and beats to create rich soundscapes that explore the space between shadows and sunlight through story-driven lyrics and a fresh take on contemporary folk music.
Produced by Michael Mormecha of Tree Song Studios and featuring Irish-Filipino musician Clare Galway, Tia Bow's distinctive sound has been described by Hot Press as one that "bridges folk, rock and electronica". Her recent singles have received support from Chordblossom, GoldenPlec, BBC Radio Ulster, and RTÉ's Folk on One.
Praise for Tia Bow:

Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh, RTÉ's Folk on One
