Who needs a paintbrush and palette when nature provides them for us? Let's get abstract as we use flowers to paint!
We are so excited to welcome Horticultural Therapist Baylee Carr to guide us for a late summer eve of creativity, connection, and beauty. Join us for an evening of painting with flowers, sharing in community, and enjoying light, refreshments and snacks. Dress to make a mess.
Baylee brings in a wide range of knowledge from various backgrounds to incorporate multifaceted programs, including:
- A lifetime love of personal gardening projects, both indoor and outdoor,
- An Agricultural Research degree from Rutgers University,
- A 10-year career focused in Plant Pathology and Specialty Crop W**d Science, working both conventionally for leaders in the Agricultural Chemical Industry as well as with Organic practices,
- A Horticultural Therapy Certification through Rutgers University and the American Horticultural Therapy Association,
- A passion for researching things for which she doesn’t have answers,
- And a peace in providing an all-encompassing healing experience for others.
