About our Herb Classes:Herbs, used through the centuries for aroma, health, beauty and taste are now at NPBGS! Come visit our herb garden - and if you want to know more, taste test, and have fun learning about them - come join us for our monthly herb classes! Herb classes are held in the Yunker Farmhouse (1201 28th Ave N, Fargo, ND), next door to our botanic garden. All classes will be educational and hands-on and will include history of herbs, tastings, teas and recipes. Cost is $20 per person and classes are limited to 20 participants.

About this Class
Thyme for Tasty Herbal Recipes: We will use many of our garden's culinary herbs and others in this class with a wide range of recipes, from appetizers to dessert. Other than the few common herbs that most people know, like cinnamon, nutmeg, basil, oregano, parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme (which many know from a song, but not by taste), how many more do you know and do you know how to use them? What about lemon grass, savory, lemon thyme, tarragon, marjoram? All very flavorful, but not as well known. Increase your comfort level with these and other herbs and take home some new recipes. Ban Bland!
