In partnership with our parent City department (Recreation and Human Services), the Market is pleased to host three Thursday Thinkers sessions in November, in our Nutrition Education Center! This first session will focus on making the most of your
Public Market shopping trip! Get tips for shopping at the Market, and info on the Market Token Program for SNAP recipients, and the ROC Healthy Grocer initiative. Presenters include Leslie Knox,
President, Friends of the Rochester Public Market; Laura Grey,
Writer and Program Lead for Roc Healthy Grocer; and Jim Farr,
Director of the City of Rochester Public Market.
Entry is free-- enter through the center doors of the Market's indoor shed, under the lit Rochester Public Market sign! Attendees are eligible to win a drawing of $10 in Market Gift Tokens!
