A free documentary screening for our Hilma af Klint inspired Thursday Lates event.
Beyond the Visible: Hilma af Klint is a dazzling, course-correcting documentary from director Halina Dryschka. It describes not only the life and craft of af Klint, but also the process of her mischaracterisation and erasure by both a patriarchal narrative of artistic progress and capitalistic determination of artistic value.
Screened in our Lecture Theatre with English subtitles.
Hilma af Klint: Artist and Visionary is organised in collaboration with The Hilma af Klint Foundation.
Presented by Key Capital at 25. Funded as part of the Culture Programme for Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2026.
This Thursday Lates event is a part of the Dublin by Dusk initiative in support of the Night-Time Economy After Hours at the Museum scheme.
