Artist Patrick Loewen AKA People Loves Diamond embarks on his first solo exhibition at Reds Gallery Dublin in October.
Patrick uses beauty as a compass: his wife, his children, his paintings. His life has been filled with extraordinary blessings alongside hardship and trauma. This exhibition comes from the distance between these two extremes.
Loewen is a Galway based artist who spent 25 years as a chef, drawing after shifts and on his days off. His work brings together dark humour, tenderness and a stubborn refusal to hate.
