Get ready for an unforgettable afternoon of Oregon history with Kerry Tymchuk, the Boyle Family Executive Director of the Oregon Historical Society!Born in Reedsport and a graduate of Willamette University and Willamette University College of Law, Kerry brings a remarkable career in public service and storytelling. Before leading OHS in 2011, he served as a Marion County Deputy District Attorney and held key roles with national leaders, including speechwriting and legal counsel for Bob Dole and speechwriting for Elizabeth Dole. He also worked closely with Oregon icons like Gert Boyle, Harry Merlo, Al Reser, and Ken Austin to help tell their stories.
A four-time champion on Jeopardy!, Kerry will share how OHS preserves Oregon’s past and how the Multnomah County Museum Levy Fund supports local museums, then wrap things up with fun Oregon history trivia!
