Throwing with Kev Halloween Couples Class

Alexa, play "Unchained Melody" ...

This two-part workshop is taught by the Co-Owner and lead Potter of Poppy + Pot, Kevin (with the assistance of his wife, Da'Reen)! It's intended for those that want to try throwing on the wheel with no experience necessary. Join us for a romantic evening of pottery, laughter, light refreshments and a little wine with your boo or your bestie! The idea is to recreate the iconic scene from the movie, Ghost! During this workshop, you'll each learn to throw a bowl on the wheel with the assistance of your partner, surrounded by candles and spooky mood lighting. You'll return at a later date to glaze your masterpiece. This class is the perfect date night and Halloween kickoff!

Tickets are sold per couple (one ticket= 2 people)

Part One: Throwing on the wheel
Friday, October 30th . 6-8pm

Part Two: Glazing
Once your pottery has been fired in the kiln, you'll be notified by email that your pieces are ready to be glazed. You can return any Sunday between 10-4pm, and paint your pottery using various different glazes and application methods in a more self driven, laid back atmosphere.

Once glazed, pottery will be fired in the kiln one more time to complete the process. The second firing can take anywhere between 2-4 weeks. You'll be notified by email when your pottery is finished and ready for pickup.
