Throwing with Kev for Kids

Poppy + Pot’s Lead Potter, Kevin Reichenberg, has created a child friendly approach to making pottery on the wheel. This is a two-part workshop! You’ll bring your child for part-one where they'll make a bowl on the wheel and then return on a later date to glaze their piece. The glaze date is part-two of the workshop and is chosen during the throwing portion. At the end of this workshop, each student will have made their very own piece of art that makes the perfect gift!

When they arrive at the glaze day, students will be given an information sheet with their pots, as well as an assortment of glaze options and brushes/tools. They then have the whole class to glaze at their own pace. Students can pick up their finished pieces shortly after the glaze workshop, Kev will specify the date then but we guarantee all pieces will be ready before Christmas!

This is a ticketed event for children and we ask that adults stay in the shop the duration of the class. Tickets are only to be purchased for children.
