Thriving Thursday is celebrating its fifth anniversary in Connersville. The event provides the community with information on health issues, community programs, and preventive screenings.This month’s presenter is Craig Towns, Director of Business Partnerships for Reid Health.
Reid Community Health will be on-site with health resources.
Sharrie Harlin, Manager of Community Engagement for Reid Health, started Medical Monday 15 years ago in Richmond when she worked for the Minority Health Coalition and maintained it after joining Reid. Thriving Thursday was added later, and both events have loyal followings, averaging 40 to 50 guests each month.
