FREE Entry Thanks to CENTRA, the Bedford Community Health Foundation, and the Greater Lynchburg Community Foundation!
Come to Falling Creek Park Saturday, April 5th, between 10am-6pm to learn how you can THRIVE OUTSIDE this outdoor season by meeting local vendors, outfitters, camps, clubs, farms, healthcare practitioners, gyms, gear outfitters, and non-profits that specialize in:
Adventure/Recreation
Agriculture/Homesteading
Health/Wellness
This is THE place to come and learn about all the upcoming outdoor events and activities in our region and talk face to face with the amazing people who make them happen!
Some of these groups will be offering workshops teaching various skills or lessons on how to THRIVE OUTSIDE! We have TONS of kids activities as well so bring the whole family!
Farm Petting Zoo - Inflatables - Foam Machine - Kids Bike Course
Food Trucks - Outdoor Music - Workshops - Vendors + More!
VENDORS:
Must relate to the three categories on health/adventure/agriculture listed above. Email [email protected] and we will send you an application form.
$50 for Business - $25 for Non-Profit
Vendors receive a 10'x10' space with 2' on either side. You provide your table, chairs, and canopy. If you need electricity we allow small battery/gas generators, let me know if you plan to do so.
VENDOR PARKING AND UNLOADING
Set up time is from 7:00am-9:45am. Vendors need to be parked in the designated area and ready for the public by 9:45am. Looking at the map above, vendors enter through the gate at the green circle in the upper left corner, by the red barn, and follow the green arrows around the play ground and around the walking track. You may unload our car at to your respective locations. You will be given a number designating which spot is yours via email. Once unloaded you may follow the walking, the green arrows on the map, to the vendor parking in the adjacent field. At 6pm, once the festival is over you may drive back to the place you unloaded and clean up your area.
LEADING A WORKSHOP:
Hours of Choice (e.g. 10-11am, 1-2pm, etc)
Workshop Title (e.g. 10 Essentials for Hiking, Foraging 101, Wildcrafting for Kids, Tick Prevention Tips, Composting 101, How to Change a Bike Tire, etc)
200 character intro for what you will teach or what the lesson will cover.
Max Class Size (e.g. 10-25 people)
