WHY IT'S IMPORTANT?
Did you know that about 90% of people with type 1 diabetes have no family history before they were diagnosed? That's why it's important—no matter your backstory—to consider early detection screening for type 1 diabetes.
Early detection can prevent potential life-threatening symptoms from high blood sugar levels as a result of unknown type 1 diabetes. Advances in screening now allow us to confidently identify autoantibodies linked to type 1 diabetes before any symptoms occur.
We provide complimentary early detection screening for all attendees because everyone should have the right information when it matters most.
