It's Hunger Action Month (September)! It's Fashion Week!
It's time to help connect our neighbors to good, healthy food.
Recognize Hunger Action Month at the Second Glance, Thrift Store of The Open Door, Fashion Show on Sunday Sept. 13. Doors open at 6:00pm. Show starts at 7:00pm. Ages 14+.
After party at The Cut LIVE from 8:30-10:00 p.m. After the show to feature sip-and-shop from a curated selection of second-hand clothing and accessories. Meet the designers and the models!
Funds raised will support local hunger-relief programs of The Open Door.
For the first time ever, this event will feature a finale with custom, upcycled looks by Massachusetts College of Art and Design alumni using materials from Second Glance.
TICKETS TO THIS EVENT ARE FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED. NO TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR .
Last year, The Open Door met a 36% increase in requests for food assistance, in addition to 30% increases in both 2023 and in 2024.
In 2025, The Open Door distributed 2.48 million pounds of food distributed to 12,780 people through 136,851 visits. Thank you!
