Met frontman Glynn Morgan alweer een tijd in de gelederen brengen Karl Groom, Richard West, Johanne James en Steve Anderson het beste in elkaar naar boven. Threshold komt naar Helmond en dat mag je natuurlijk niet missen!
Threshold, opgericht eind jaren '80 in het groene, Engelse Surrey, bloeide pas echt op in het daaropvolgende decennium en vestigde zich al snel als de prog metal vaandeldragers van Groot-Brittannië. Sindsdien toert Threshold over de hele wereld en staan ze op grote festivals als Sweden Rock, Masters of Rock, Night of the Prog, ProgPower en 70.000 Tons of Metal en staan er inmiddels ook twaalf succesvolle albums op hun CV. Gitarist Karl Groom: "Na onze 'Dividing Lines'-shows zochten we iets inspirerends om dit jaar te kunnen laten zien. En toen kwamen we op het idee om terug te kijken op onze historie: we gaan minstens één nummer van elk van onze twaalf albums spelen, plus wat extra songs van de laatste releases. Daar zijn we erg enthousiast over; we kunnen niet wachten om iedereen in oktober te zien!" Nou, dat zijn wij ook! Houd website en socials in de gaten voor meest actuele tijdschema van dit concert.
STATEMENT
Glynn Morgan kan er in verband met keelproblemen helaas niet bij zijn tijdens het concert op zaterdag 19 oktober.
Threshold have confirmed that Alessio Garavello will cover for vocalist Glynn Morgan for the band's remaining shows of 2024 as he continues his recovery from a throat condition. Glynn gave the following statement:
Hands down this is one of the biggest decisions I never wanted to make. Being a singer and losing your voice is indescribable both physically and emotionally, and not knowing how long it would take to recover made it a huge gamble both for myself and the band for me to commit to the upcoming tour.
I would like to wish my band mates all the best for the adventure ahead and a huge thank you to Alessio Garavello for stepping up and grabbing the mic in my place. Threshold fans are the best in the world so I'm sure he's gonna get a warm, loud welcome!
Thankfully my voice is getting stronger day by day and I am now totally confident of a full recovery given time. A massive thank you to all those who wished me well and I promise I will be back!!
