Threshold of Light (Women’s Song Circle)

Dear Sisters,

The light is returning, soft at first, like a promise on the edge of winter’s hush, and with it comes the call to gather, to sing, to be nourished.

You are warmly invited to Threshold of Light, a song circle hosted in my home on Friday, February 20, where we will rejoice together in music, memory, and the gentle miracle of shared breath.

Bring your voice, your spirit, and your presence.

Songs from many traditions are welcome: folk, sacred, silly, devotional, round or wild.

Optional: Bring a guitar, hand drum, shaker, flute, or other instruments if they call to you.

Or simply bring yourself.

We will begin at 7pm, but feel free to arrive from 6:30 to settle in, sip something warm, and find your place in the hearth-space.

I’ll be serving a warm, nourishing beverage: cacao, chai, golden milk, or whatever the evening asks for. You’re welcome to bring a sacred cup to be blessed by the warmth and energy of the gathering.

We aim to end around 9pm, but as it’s a Friday, there may be a little stretch in the music and laughter.

Let us cross the threshold of light together.

✨ Invitation à “Seuil de Lumière” ✨

Une soirée de chant et de partage | 20 février | Près du foyer

Cheres Soeurs,

La lumière revient douce d’abord, comme une promesse au bord du silence hivernal, et avec elle vient l’appel à se rassembler, à chanter, à se nourrir.

Vous êtes chaleureusement invitées à Seuil de Lumière, un cercle de chant qui se tiendra chez moi le vendredi 20 février, pour nous réjouir ensemble en musique, en mémoire, et dans le doux miracle du souffle partagé.

Apportez votre voix, votre esprit, votre présence.

Les chants de toutes traditions sont les bienvenus : folk, sacrés, joyeux, dévotionnels, en ronde ou en liberté.

Apportez guitare, tambour, hochet, flûte ou tout autre instrument si le cœur vous en dit. Ou venez simplement tel·le que vous êtes.

Nous commencerons à 19h, mais vous êtes bienvenue dès 18h30 pour vous installer, savourer une boisson chaude et trouver votre place dans l’espace du foyer.

Je servirai une boisson chaude et nourrissante: cacao, chai, lait doré ou ce que la soirée réclamera.

Vous êtes invitée à apporter une tasse sacrée, à bénir dans la chaleur et l’énergie du cercle.

Nous prévoyons de terminer vers 21h, mais comme c’est un vendredi, la musique et les rires pourraient bien se prolonger un peu.

Trépassons ensemble ce seuil de lumière.
