Threshing Day Midnight Release Party at Harvard Book Store

Harvard Book Store invites you to a special midnight release party event for Threshing Day, the next book in Rebecca Yarros' blockbuster Empyrean series, containing thirteen stories starring your favorite characters and their dragons.

Ticket holders will have access into the bookstore beginning at 10:30pm for 90 minutes of Empyrean-themed activities, including photo opportunities, a costume contest, and more. Come dressed as your favorite character and join us as we count down to midnight when each ticket holder will receive a deluxe first edition including sixteen beautiful original full-color illustrations by artist Joe Requeza. This breathtaking collectible is available only in the US and Canada while supplies last, and is a must-have for fans of the series! Ticketing information and details are below.

Tickets include admission for one and one hardcover copy of Threshing Day (Wing and Claw Collection) (The Empyrean) by Rebecca Yarros.

Note: Books bundled with tickets may only be picked up at the venue the night of the event, and cannot be picked up in-store beforehand. Ticket holders who purchased a book-included ticket and are unable to attend the event will be able to pick up their book at Harvard Book Store up to 30 days following the event. This offer expires after 30 days. Please note we cannot guarantee signed copies will be available to ticket holders who do not attend the event.

• Ticket holders should arrive at Harvard Book Store (1256 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge) beginning at 10:30pm on Monday, September 28, 2026 to check-in. Please note that the bookstore will be closed from 10:00pm-10:30pm to set up for this release party.
• Once checked-in, ticket holders can wander the bookstore and activity tables.
• At midnight, copies of Threshing Day will be distributed to attendees.
• Books will NOT be signed and Rebecca Yarros will NOT be at the event.
• Additional copies of Threshing Day and Yarros' previous titles will be available for purchase at the event, as well as fantasy titles from other authors that fans will love.
